The title of the exhibition does not prove the concept of emptiness philosophically, astronomically, physically or Buddhist. It outlines the artist's thoughts on visual reduction and, in light of the overstimulation of sensation, eludes a concrete representation of images.
VOID can be viewed and understood much like a blank sheet of paper. The viewer is thrown back on himself; he is confronted with his own inner pictures.
In Leitna's current work cycle, there are also shadowy series - "filling verse" or "vert" - which he develops from his photographic material.
First and foremost, the artist uses his existing works and material for this purpose. Dismembered, sorted out and collaged, this results in new combinations that approach the idea of spiritual emptiness.
