Aurora Vigil-Escalera presents, the exhibition 30 +3; an anniversary exhibition already iconic for the gallery at this time of year.
30 +3 is an exhibition reflecting on the one hand, on Aurora Vigil-Escalera’s 30 years of professional trajectory from an early stage as a gallery owner of the Gallery Van Dyck and on the other, her solitary professional stage since the gallerist opened her own space in January 2015,-hence the name of this exhibition.
This exhibition accrues a compendium of exhibitions carried out in the gallery over 2017, and each is represented by the most outstanding pieces by every participating artist. This exhibition will be featured at the gallery for two months, during which, and in order to offer a wider range of artworks , will rotate its artists thus becoming a dynamic and innovative show.
A meticulous selection of artworks by Juan Genovese, Pablo Armesto, Ismael Lagares, Pablo Genovese, Chema Madoz, Luis Gordillo, Picatoste Santiago, Izaskum, Isabel Muñoz, Herminio, Jorge Hernández, David Morago, Rosa Muñoz, Francisco Farreras, Luis Feito or Gonzalo García, among others.
This exhibition summarizes the best of 2017 and anticipates what will come in 2018: an eclectic and quality cultural program and attendance to prominent art fairs in the national art sector – already distinctive features of this gallery as well as meaningful surprises from this space, which will be communications throughout the forthcoming year.
All these events only reinforce both, Aurora Vigil-Escalera Art Gallery and its director’s trajectory, who progresses steadily from the opening of her own space in 2015, supporting consolidated artists as well as new contemporary art talents with a strong national and international scope.
