Bau-Xi Gallery is pleased to announce its participation in Photo London Digital’s first edition—-the first international photography fair presented online. Adapting to the current international climate, Photo London’s move to a digital art fair compliments Bau-Xi Gallery’s mandate to advocate for the accessibility of Canadian and international fine artworks. This digital platform brings renowned lens-based artworks to an international audience, furthering each artist’s reach beyond the gallery’s brick-and-mortar spaces in Toronto and Vancouver, and Photo London’s centralized audience. Photo London Digital runs from October 7 to October 18 on Artsy’s digital art fair platform.
Established in 1965, Bau-Xi Gallery was founded to showcase many Canadian artists in need of gallery representation on Canada’s West Coast. In 1976, Bau-Xi Gallery expanded its national reach, opening their Toronto location at their current address at 340 Dundas Street West, located across the street from the Art Gallery of Ontario. With their photography location, Bau-Xi Photo, celebrating its 10 year anniversary this year, Bau-Xi Gallery has become one of Canada’s highly regarded galleries, representing a selection of renowned Canadian and international artists across a variety of mediums.
