Beck & Eggeling presents Heinz Mack’s ZERO-oeuvre at Art Basel / Miami Beach, December 3-6, 2015.
The solo-show in Miami Beach will give an overview of Mack’s ZERO-oeuvre from 1957–1966, which has been
represented by Beck & Eggeling exclusively worldwide for the last 10 years.
Heinz Mack was the founder of the ZERO-group - together with Otto Piene and later joined by Günther Uecker
one of the most important German post-war-movements, currently in international focus due to the big shows 2014 at Guggenheim (New York) and 2015 at Martin Gropius Bau (Berlin), Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam) and Sakıp Sabancı Museum (Instanbul). Dynamism, light and shade, the use of new materials, no bold colours and a lack of emotion was the epitomy of the ZERO-group. With Heinz Mack’s solo presentaion Beck & Eggeling is exhibitor of Survey – the sector dedicated to precise arthistorical projects ranging from solo shows to thematic exhibitions presents precise art historical projects.
