This award-winning group of artists has been carefully curated to reflect a range of forms and dynamic styles. For the majority of the artists, the use of color, light and perspective are integral themes of their work. Newcomers to the gallery, Edward Merritt and Sonya Sklaroff bring their unique styles to the show. Ed’s two dimensional work uses a variety of non-traditional techniques. His unique paintings are achieved by layering, pulling, and cutting handmade pieces of acrylic lamina. Sonya’s new work focuses on the relationship between abstraction and representation. She experiments with texture, color, and imagery to create joyous and bold explosions of pattern, light, and form.
