Join bG online for a virtual opening of the group exhibition Love in the Time of Corona / a social distancing art exhibition.
Love in the Time of Corona is an in-gallery exhibition hosting a virtual reception.
In this unprecedented time, we are taking initiatives to not only keep all of us safe but to also keep us engaged and artistically inspired. So put on a party dress and grab a glass of wine or get into your pj’s with a cup of hot cocoa and join from home as bG brings you a social media - social distancing art opening reception.
Kick your shoes off and join our virtual reception while you mingle with other at-home guests and gallery staff and see the art exhibition through bG’s streaming platforms.
Join via Zoom: https://zoom.us/j/678368121 or at the Instagram live stream @bggallery.
You can also go to www.dotred.co during the opening reception to see pre-recorded interviews with the artists from Love In The Time Of Corona as they discuss their works on view.
www.Artsy.net will have a page for purchasing exhibition works.
A portion of the art sales proceeds will go to benefit Meals on Wheels
After the virtual reception, bG gallery will be keeping the art up on the physical walls and will be open by appointment. bG Gallery is at Bergamot Station , A-2 , next to the Bergamot cafe. However check the gallery social media and website for updated hours as the recommendations for social distancing evolve.
About Meals on Wheels West
Meals on Wheels West provides community based services that nourish and enrich the lives of our homebound neighbors of all ages by providing nutritious meals, an emergency preparedness program and referrals to other services that promote independent living and wellbeing. There are an abundance of seniors and other immune-comprised individuals signing up to receive meals because they cannot leave their houses due to the high risk of COVID-19. There are a few ways you can help, including volunteer to deliver meals, volunteer to do remote phone reassurance, donate hygiene kits or donate to help purchase meals for the drastically increased number of clients. For more information please reach out to Ashley McGullam at [email protected] or (310)394-5133x6.
