PARTE is one of the most important Contemporary art fairs in São Paulo, Brazil, and, with an important characteristic: focus on new talents. And, as Casa Jacarepaguá has in its DNA the search for new street art talent, we are very happy to join this event.
At PARTE 2017, Casa Jacarepaguá wants to show that Street art is not only the typical graffiti. We will introduce MIA - Massive Ilegal Art, the codename of a controversial São Paulo, Brazil, street artist. His photographic work portrays shows (aggressive or criminal...) interventions in the city, on bank facades, luxury car dealerships, viaducts and walls in general, using fire extinguishers. We will have Fábio Biofa to, presenting his photo research of his inspirations of little details of the city aspects and how it impact his art. Regarding paintings, Fabiano Senk brings the surrealism to graffiti, using supports from traditional canvas to cement. Finally, we will have Guiga, bringing to the fair his "walls". Guiga built replicas of urban walls, with grids, gates... It will be the street invading the art fair.
