Chalk Horse is excited to be presenting new paintings by Emma Finneran alongside large scale dry pastel and scratched works on paper by Nathan Hawkes. Harley Ives will screen a new moving image work that continues his interest in the history of painting and focusses on the contemporary circulation of digital information. Addison Marshall will show three new ceramic and tulle sculptures that react to his recent travels in Italy and specifically reference architecture and the built environment. Mathew McWilliams will be presenting a series of monochromatic works that bind the real and the represenational through the use ok inject ink as dye as well as printed onto canvas. Kate Mitchell will be exhibit a suite of Copic ink "streakers", bush sprites in mundane settings, decorative vases and green faced figures in their everyday absurd situations.
