The current encroachments on our civil rights and freedoms by ministerial orders following from the Corona virus pandemic give the central issues in Milica Tomic’s art works additional relevance: an installation in our gallery bears the title Museum in Suspension and engages with the shut down of the State Museum for Modern Art in Belgrade which began during the collapse of the Yugoslavian state.
