The Auto-Graph series by Japanese artist Tetsuya Kusu was created in 2016. His concept was to create images that reflected his own life at that time. The end result, a life that is out of control can still yield beauty. Each image represents a visual haiku.
In 2016, Japanese photographer Tetsuya Kusu purchased a Honda Odessey on Craigslist for $350. His plan was to drive the 1200 mile trip from Vancouver to Los Angeles. He installed a camera to the passenger seat and left the window open. Taking in the wilderness air. The camera was set to 15 second intervals. His concept was to create images that reflected his own current life. The end result, a life that is out of control can still yield beauty. The series Auto-Graph is now available exclusively with Court Tree Gallery.
