Cristina Grajales Gallery at Design Miami/ 2012

December 5December 9, 2012

Since its inception in 2001, Cristina Grajales Gallery has established itself as one of the forerunners in the design world. The gallery specializes in contemporary design, while also dealing in masterpieces of the twentieth century. Cristina Grajales Gallery focuses on cultivating the work of emerging contemporary designers. The artists represented by Cristina Grajales Gallery work in a variety of areas within the larger field of design: furniture and lighting, as well as ceramic, metal and textile design. Their work constantly pushes, blurs and in some cases erases the line between art and design. With twenty years of experience, Grajales has established herself as a tastemaker and trendsetter both in contemporary and twentieth century design. Founded in 2001, her lecture series titled Dialogues with Design Legends at the 92nd street Y was the first of its kind. Grajales, widely considered an expert within the design field, is a frequent guest lecturer, panelist and contributor to various publications. Cristina Grajales Gallery maintains a full program of exhibitions. The gallery also offers advisory and design consultancy services to assist in building and maintaining important collections.
