Chinese Abstraction

Chinese Abstraction brings together diverse bodies of mixed media work from artists from or still living in China. The group show features acrylic canvases by Chinese Abstract Minimalist, Shen Chen, who now lives and works in New York City; heavy impasto oils from Chinese painter Lianghong Feng, who still lives and works in Beijing and sometimes from his home city of Shanghai; monumental watercolors from Chinese artist Paul Ching-Bor, whose works blends abstraction with gritty cityscapes, who immigrated first to Australia before finding his home in New York City; and lastly Chinese artist Cui Fei, whose minimal abstract works on paper and sculptures mimic traditional Chinese calligraphy.
