HYBRID NATURE -THE STAND
The artworks evolve around the subject of objects we hold precious, and that we cherish like gold. It develops the notion of memory captivated by the objects and they are charged with large contents of information expanding by addition towards new meaning.
The Physical representation confronts meanings, creating a tension, of the inner meditative allegory and the reality of the common object. Such are our lives constantly creating relationships between the natural and the artificial, these meanings change significance with what is natural today and artificial, natural could be more artificial than things coming from nature.
The concept of nature iterates in the first meaning and the representation of it which can be considered artificial, but with means of acknowledging that natural for us human beings are also the things noted as artificial such elements like objects.
In the works the audience witnesses an exploration of processes of identification and connotation by the acquisition of certain characteristics as attributes. The essential characteristics change by addition of the new, giving another signification to the viewer, by means of employing numerous techniques to finally acquire as a result a transformative expression of aesthetic enquiry.
The art shown questions our relationship with the world and the phenomenology within. Where I channel the dichotomy between reality and imagination blended together by remembrance and the imagery symbolic ideas.
My work is an invitation to a vast exploration of the inner consciousness of latent beauty, evocative associations in daily life that create a dialogue in the pieces.
In the self, the process of becoming part of the digital medium, the human figure redraws itself, still the human presence it’s there but what it used to be distinguished has left only lines are left in a canvas of pixels that appear as a screen, thus the self from within does not draw itself so fast as a screen, there fore embroidery the patience the task resembles the human existence of constructing one’s own identity and a human being as whole.
In the work as not the usual lines for recognition are drawn, still the human being is present in a poetic nature of the digital self, but constructed with pieces of timely doing.
The work is also a photographic process of self-recognition, that is analog to the process of becoming a digital being. The work is based on a self portrait that becomes a reflection of the veils of the digital and the construction of a digital self.
The stand is also a testimony of survival a breath for the artist that suffered very traumatic victimization by unscrupulous people, stalked, circled, hacked, robbed, physically beaten her art tried to be ended, like her life, that experience changed her vision for her art the only thing keeping her standing feeling handicapped. A breath among suffering, the artist has inquired in art that portrays pain and that became part also of her portfolio.
