The Currier Museum of Art's, Dedham Lock and Mill (1820), a depiction of the serene English countryside by landscapist John Constable, hangs next to the Davis Museum's Mount Washington from the Valley of Conway (1851) by Hudson River School painter John Frederick Kensett.
