During Kosmologym, Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art will be transformed into an experimental ethics gym, where the audience engages in five different games, all putting questions of how we relate to others – people, plants, institutions, minerals – to the fore.
Kosmologym will test a collection of games that challenges members to consider, compete or cooperate with others (e.g. human/animal, vegetable, mineral). Kosmologym will work with members to sketch out alternative ethics, prototyping games with unusual goals and customarily excluded participants.
Kosmologym will work to inspire as many as possible a more ethical existence. The artists behind the project explain: "We see the gym as an experiment to expand ethical and social well-being and as an incubator for new habits and ways of being. Some train to make more space for others. Some to discover new ways of being alone or together. There must be room for differences and change. Everyone must be able to join. Regardless of age, bankbook, and ability. It's ethics that binds us all together. Kosmologym invites you to play games with us that reimagine the world"
KOSMOLOGYM can be experienced until February 11, 2018.
