(ST. LOUIS) - Duane Reed Gallery is honored to be showing Harumi Nakashima in his first ever US solo exhibition.

Harumi Nakashima was born in Gifu, Japan, 1950. Nakashima creates stunning hand-built porcelain sculptures of incredible complexity and beauty. Taking great care to achieve a flawless surface and form, each piece is created over the course of six months. Nakashima received his BA in Ceramics from Osaka University of Arts and Design in 1973; then in 1976 he began working at Tajimi City Pottery Design and Technical Center.
