Dvir Gallery is happy to announce a new solo show by Ariel Schlesinger, who lives and works in Mexico City and Berlin. Schlesinger's "Eleven hours forward" spans the two large floors of the gallery in Tel Aviv. It features new series that were conceived during his residency in Havana, while preparing his participation in the 2015 Havana Biennial. The show hinges on 'Burnt Canvases' a 6-part series of large paintings that has propelled other works equally inquisitive of, and contradictory to, their own medium. A new text by Sarah Demeuse, writer and curator, functions as associative accompaniment to the exhibition.
