EKAV-ARTIST "New Generation 1"

EKAV / Education, Culture and Research Foundation remains one of the most major support institutions of art education since 1991, awarding non-refundable scholarships to Fine Arts students who are successful in different disciplines. Ekavart Gallery is a non-profit establishment under EKAV / Education, Culture and Research Foundation, hosting the group exhibition “EKAV-ARTIST New Generation I” of the works of our scholars, between June 9th – July 30th 2015.
“EKAV-ARTIST New Generation” is curated and also designed by our grantees, will be the first of the traditional exhibition series that we plan to organize each year. Besides many exhibitions and events that the foundation organized before as social responsibility, "EKAV-ARTIST New Generation" has a special importance for the EKAV Foundation; our scholars will perform a selection of their works without any issues or material limitations.
The exhibition will be held by 15 young grad and non-grad scholarship students from faculties of Fine Arts across the country, focused on different disciplines; such as paintings, sculptures, design and video. The participants are: Sezer Arıcı, Yalçın Bilgin, Funda Caner, Karis Deniz, Caner Kaplan, Sefa Karakuş, Dilara Mataracı, Ceyhun Topçu, Elif Ünlü and Nuri Yıldız from Mimar Sinan Faculty of Fine Arts, Sevda Alat, Muhsine Polat and Duygu Özkan from Harran University, Cihan Ersoy from Anadolu University, Fatma Avcılar from Gazi University.
The show “EKAV-ARTIST New Generation I” can be seen at Ekavart Gallery between June 9th – July 30th 2015.
- EKAV Foundation is getting bigger and richer with the slogan 'Art Improves, Art Treats, Art Unites' and it continues working by sharing the events which represent the culture platforms of our country and supporting and the artists and lovers of art. Ekavart Gallery is a non-profit establishment under EKAV. All of the income earned through the exhibitions is granted for the students of art, the artists of the future, as scholarships.
