“Finding the Art You Love for your Living Room, Dining Room and Bedroom”
Art Collecting and Interior Design Event on Thursday, June 7th in Fairfield, CT
Elisa Contemporary Art, Moss Design and Fairfield Magazine are pleased to present an
interactive evening about Art and Interior Design focused on “Finding the Art You Love for Your Living Room, Dining Room and Bedroom.”
The event will take place on Thursday, June 7 (raindate: June 14) from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at the Elisa Contemporary Art Salon in Fairfield CT.
The event brings to life the recent Fairfield Magazine article, “No Bare Walls. Accessible Art for the Modern Collector” by Jessica Grutkowski in which Lisa Cooper, owner, Elisa Contemporary Art shares some ideas on finding art. According to Cooper, “First find out what speaks to you. Once you discover what artists and styles resonate, do your own research. Follow your favorite artists on social media, subscribe to art blogs and attend local art fairs.”
The presentation and discussion at 7:15pm will be led by Lisa Cooper, and Meghan De Maria, Principal Designer of Moss Design. It will share insights and ideas about creating the right mix of color, texture, and art for key areas in the home – the living room, dining room and bedroom.
Wine will be served courtesy of Josh Cellars.
Guests are invited to browse the Art Salon featuring over 30 local and international artists before and after the presentation. Artwork will also be shown in the outdoor patio by artists featured in the article including Kyra Dwyer and Jenn Scully.
The event is open to the public, but reservations are required as there is limited space. To RSVP, email Lisa@ElisaArt.com.
