Elisa Contemporary Art Salon is the featured Gallery for the May 17th Progressive Gallery Tour in Fairfield CT.
Elisa Contemporary Art is opening its second art space, an in-home Art Salon. The goal in the new space is to share with clients, visitors and design professionals living with art in a real-life setting. It will be open by appointment. An ever changing collection of art is displayed throughout the house -- above tables, over seating areas, hanging on large hallway walls, resting on small shelves, and even within the bathrooms. The goal is to transition away from the white walled gallery space into a more "connected" environment where one can truly experience living and interacting with artwork.
According to owner Lisa Cooper, "A top priority for me as an art dealer has always been to make art more accessible. I want everyone to see how important and impactful living with art can be. Art has always had the ability to take me into another space or place, without ever leaving the room. I wanted to share that inspiration and experience in my new art space."
The space features contemporary art styles spanning from Abstraction to Pop Art to Hyperrealism. A range of mediums including Oil and Acrylic painting, Mixed Media, Dimensional Paper, Collage, Photography, Prints, Works on Paper and Sculpture.
Featured artists include: Carol Bennett, Kimber Berry, Paula Brett, Stephanie Cate, Amy Cheng, John Conn, Joseph Dermody, Alexis Duque, Carole Eisner, Ferdinanda Florence, Amy Genser, Martha Hughes, Mitch McGee, Allyson Monson, Don Morris, Jeffrey Palladini, Ken Peloke, Aurora Robson, Roxanne Faber Savage, Matt Story, Heidi Whitman, Jason Wright
The Elisa Contemporary Art Fairfield Art Salon will be the featured gallery for the Progressive Gallery Tour, presented by the Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County on May 17, 2017 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
The event will include wine and art-inspired tastings created by Jenn Haythorn at Jenn Events.
