Art Central Hong Kong 2019, Estyle Art Gallery presents Taiwanese contemporary artists Chang Yung Tsun and Chen Chien Fa, giving a glimpse of how they break the rules of ancient ink and turn it into the carrier of constantly innovations.
Chang Yung Tsun’s work has a strong speculative concept and cross-domain nature, the tentative media is not limited by traditions. The series of "Cultural Leap’’ and "Ink Transformation" amaze the audiences still. In 2019, we present "Ink Installation ", created in 1984 representing the interdisciplinary that Chang Yung Tsun is good at. Chen Chien Fa uses the monument of Taihu stone to imply the ink culture, using the realistic techniques nearly self-tortured to translate ancient and modern symbols. Focusing the dramatic effect, to inherit implicit expression of literati in modern.
