Exhibit by Aberson is pleased to present a curated selection of objects and art.
Exhibit by Aberson has been searching for and acquiring objects from around the world. This month the gallery will serve as a space where modern design and primitive form come together. Rich texture and organic shapes will be a key component within this hand-selected grouping of work.
Curated with a distinct notion of “primitive” — removing it from it’s anthropological context and reconsidering it as representation of the “Golden Age” past. Primitive design honors meticulous, handmade detail, revisits the time of analogue living and embraces imperfection in hand-crafted and naturally formed items.
Modernity is about experimentation and challenging the conventions of the past. The curation of these found design objects and artwork is a play on this collision of the past and the future. As a trusted resource for contemporary art, Exhibit by Aberson seeks to fuse the two approaches to art and design in order to allow the viewer to consider the pieces with fresh eyes.
