A solo show for Lou Vest. It's the first-time he has shown his "Dancers" photography from festivals in Cartagena, Colombia. The show also includes new ship-based seascapes, for which he is internationally known, that have never been shown before in an exhibition.
Lou Vest is a photographer committed to documenting life on the ocean. For Vest, the world is a small place, and he loves capturing in images the joy of people. This exhibit combines these two passions. While his Ship and Seascapes are collected worldwide, his portraiture of people and places has not before been exhibited. This exhibits introduces this other side of the artist's work through the exuberant colorful motion of festival dancers in Cartagena, Colombia along with new images from the sea. July 26 to August 31, 2017. Opening reception 6-8:30 PM , Wednesday, 26 July. Williams Tower Gallery 2800 Post Oak Blvd. Houston, Texas.
