Boston, MA – Fountain Street Gallery will host its annual core artist exhibition, BREAKING THE RULES, curated by Allison Maria Rodriguez, from November 28th – December 23rd. Rodriguez' prospectus asked each artist to create a work that involved the idea of breaking a personal or cultural rule. The resulting exhibition generates a space that questions the social role of the artist in regard to establishing and/or challenging cultural norms, as well as the artist’s personal relationship to that role within their own art-making practice.
