In his first exhibition at the Galeria de Babel, Lucas Lenci presents 14 large-format images from the series - Alpha Cities . With an introductory text by Roseli Nakagawa, the project makes a provocation: it proposes perfect cities, built around the nature.

The landscapes were idealized and places with high demographic density appear fused to bucolic areas. In the project, each image is composed of two frames and with this symbiosis, houses and offices appear near ecological reserves, a large shopping center is built a few kilometers from a cattle ranch and extensive green areas emerge alongside huge mirrored towers. With São Paulo, New York or Dubai mixed with the Amazon or the Atlantic Forest, a romanticized view of Brazil, with large green areas, is digitally reconstructed. The compositions point to a surreal photograph, but this aspect is not clear, since the vast majority of the images are subtly assembled to confuse the viewer.
