"Los ojos no is an installation intended for silent contemplation. It is not a return to painting, because painting has never stopped being present in my work. But it is a reconsideration of the pictorial rectangle as a means of placing the other inside. I do not seek to make an aesthetic statement, but rather to repeat certain forms which, luckily, draw a complete circle around uncertainty.
