συν χρόνο are the words in ancient Greek that articulate the term synchrony: the simultaneity of facts and phenomena. This exhibition puts together works by artists of different generations in order to emphasize coincidences in their practices.

Opening Reception: Thursday, Mar. 21st, 7:30pm -10:30pm
From March 21 to May 25, 2019, Galería RGR will host the exhibition συν χρόνος curated by Daniel Garza Usabiaga. A show that through a selection of 10 modern and 5 contemporary works, links pieces of historical value such as Physichromie 247 by Carlos Cruz-Diez and Keple-Gestalt by Victor Vasarely, with current productions such as the installation Tetralineados Fluo Vert by Elias Crespin and the painting on sandpaper Abrasive Painting by Patrick Hamilton. In this way, συν χρόνος seeks to reflect on the formal and discursive continuity of geometric abstraction in art.
