The focus of the years presentation will be on three woman artists from Germany and the US: Birgit Brenner, who’s international career actually started as an artist in residence at New York’s PS1 in 2002, will be featured at the booth with her new animation movie, a film that she conceived in 2020 during her Villa Massimo grant in Rome. The work takes on a particular relevance against the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic, making us conscious of approaching threats to humanity and the environment.
