Galerie Gisela Clement is pleased to open the exhibition "Harmonic Enterprise" by conceptual artist Keti Kapanadze in the Project Space on 31 January 2019. Keti Kapanadze (born 1962 in Tbilisi, Georgia, lives and works in Bonn) first attended Art College in Tbilisi before studying graphic art and painting at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts from 1984 to 1990. Her multifaceted work ranges from conceptual drawings and sculptures to photography and video to large-scale installations. In the process, she repeatedly explores her own identity and her role as a woman and artist. Kapanadze is considered the first Georgian conceptual artist. Her works have been shown in numerous international exhibitions (selection: Kunstmuseum Bochum (solo), Cobra Museum, Amsterdam, NL, Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin, Moderna Museet, Stockholm, SWE, most recently at the Georgian National Museum (solo) and at the Silk Museum, Tbilisi) and are present in many public collections, including MMOMA, Moscow.
