- Produced in wool on a basse-lisse loom between 2015 and 2017 from designs made by the artist in the
1960s 1970s, but also from new sketches made during the year, these works are the fruit of an “art of
collaboration that makes it even more endearing,” as the artist wrote in her book “Life is a weaving” published
In parallel, the library will be exhibiting a group of prints recently edited by Lelong Editions. These are
mainly etchings presenting more or less abstract landscapes, the titles of which are an invitation to travel: To
the Ocean, Le feu du désert, Californie, Vue sur la mer, Guatemala… Their simple shapes and bright colours
are directly related to the artist’s painted output.
