Two artists from different generations and cultures come together to explore differences and similarities in both language and content. Bella Rune’s three-dimensional sculptures occupy the space, while Alejandro Sintura’s paintings are installed on the walls. Points of contact can be found in their use of colour and materiality, as well as in their relationship to tactility and abstraction. The works reflect shared thoughts on how the ordinary and unassuming can be transformed into something significant and monumental. Both artists present new works made specifically for the fair.
