Galleri s.e is proud to present new and outstanding work by Dolk. This is in many ways the artists debut exhibition and marks a new beginning - for over a decade Dolk has been known to make stencil-based art meant for the streets - but now for the first time, the artist will show two concepts solely made for the gallery space. Dolk’s recent work is a result of the artist’s deep dive into an experimental and conceptual world, where his approach to art-making is entirely different to his previous work. Now we see a more performative, intuitive and playful artist, with another depth and diversity to his concepts and ideas. Dolk is, by our opinion, one of the most interesting young artists in the art world today.
Part two of the exhibition, opens June 18th, also include the launch of Dolk’s new book "Rip on / Rip off" - a collaboration between the artist and Galleri s.e with foreword by the renowned art historian and professor Gunnar Danbolt, interview by curator Bjørn Inge Follevåg and photographs by Bent René Synnevåg.
