In his first New York show, Daniele Basso presents the theme of reflection in his sculpture. Basso explores the concept of reflection using reflexive metal surfaces and geometric shapes suggesting mirror imagery.
On April 23rd, 2015, Galleria Ca’ d’Oro’s New York location will host the work of Daniele Basso. The artist will attend.
Basso began working on his art in 2010. In addition to his art, Basso is a graphic designer and founder of GlocalDesign. This show focuses on reflective surfaces, as Basso is driven by a keen curiosity for steel, mirrored surfaces. Basso has offered the following statement regarding his work:
“My unique style springs from a new vision of reality through creative power and the search for beauty, which goes hand in hand with my strong innermost drive to always convey a forceful message on contemporaneity, proving Art’s power to renew our mindset on life and Man as well as its role as an innovative force spurring society and mankind as a whole.” Daniele Basso has shown his work in numerous galleries around the world and through various collaborations with major Italian design brands such as Swarovski, San Patrignano and UniCredit. The artist lives and works in Milan, Italy.
