Richard Storms - un re : mark a ble

Gallery Jones is pleased to present a selection of recent works on canvas by Richard Storms. Storms has moved towards representation in this new series following an artist residency at 2 Rooms in Duntara, Newfoundland. The playful, quiet, thoughtfully composed paintings allow for a longer look at commonplace scenes, depicting pastoral role of pleasure in art: painter as poet translates the visual realm with care, placing the frame and adjusting perspective to allow the viewer time for reflection.
