Gazelli Art House is pleased to announce its participation in Abu Dhabi Art.
For the occasion of the 7th edition of the fair, Gazelli Art House will be presenting works by Giovanni Ozzola, Jane McAdam Freud, Saad Qureshi, and Walter & Zoniel. The display will feature Silent Leaf a new sculptural work by British Asian artist Saad Qureshi, whose work probes issues of cultural belonging and separation – as well as universals that unite us beyond culture.
Other highlights include one of Giovanni Ozzola’s latest works Mont Analogue - Canary, which explores the concept of light through the use of gold leaf and emphasizes the idea of discovery, both physically and through self-exploration; Walter & Zoniel’s photographic works Toki Series, featuring jellyfish from their renowned Liverpool installation tank project “The Physical Possibility of Inspiring Imagination in the Mind of Somebody Living”. As well as, a wire mesh sculpture of Sycamore tree fruit - Seed, Still Fall by Jane McAdam Freud, daughter of Lucian Freud and great-granddaughter of Sigmund Freud. The work is purposefully unfinished, representing fragility, movement, and space; further exploring the theme of family by the portraying of the beginning, finished, and unknown as well as the cycle of time, timelessness, and the mother.
