For its eleventh edition, the Brussels Gallery Weekend is pleased to announce the group exhibition Generation Brussels. 12 Brussels-based artists will be presenting their work from 6 till 9 September 2018 at the Vanderborght building in the center of Brussels. Generation Brussels wishes to discover, recognize and give support to a new generation of artists. Their work deals with themes of nostalgia, the exploration and documentation of architecture and nature and the tropes of disappearance and memory. They play with layers of description, of telling things as they are, or inventing new realities. The works are made in various media such as drawing, installation, painting, ceramics, sculpture, photography and video.
Generation Brussels is curated by Louis-Philippe Van Eeckhoutte.
