Coiling is fast, it’s a fine line between the clay been too soft or too hard to attach another coil. When this happens the clay will crack, which is the best part of coiling. Its makes deep cracks in the form, just like my body. During the building process I am a breath holder, even after I have handed my work over to fire and chemistry and have taken my chances I am still a breath holder. Consequently, it’s a bad time to be a breath holder.
