Perfection is the title that the artist Ana Prada has chosen for her new exhibition in the space of the gallery. A resounding statement of intentions that wants to define her artistic practice. In the artist's own words, "seeking perfection is like chasing moon rays or how to hunt shadows; useless, but that does not prevent dreamers try it. " The dreams of Ana Prada are to find the perfect vase, with the Perfect spoon, with perfect candle. Through this type of dreams, faces with what could be denominated the problem of the chair of Plato: all the chairs are determined by the idea of chair, all the bread by the idea of bread. For her, the most important aspect of her relationship with perfection is how faces with the lack of it, promoting infinite repetition and modification. Therefore, the pieces presented are based on this constant search and without end of the perfect object, or at least of the fleeting moment of perfection. Ana Prada (Zamora, 1965) lives and works in London. Has made numerous solo and group exhibitions in Madrid, Barcelona, Sala Parpalló (Valencia), London, Rotterdam and New York.
