Henrique Faria Fine Art is pleased to present The Genealogy of Color, Emilia Azcárate’s (b. 1964) second solo exhibition with the gallery. This exhibition will bring together works from Azcárate’s recent series Pinturas de casta (Caste Paintings, 2015-present), which highlights the artist’s sustained interest in color theory, abstract representation, alphabets and typography, as well as her Latin American heritage.
