Profile of the galleries
Since 1993 in Wichtrach, formerly since 1946 in Stuttgart, 1962 and 1970 in Campione d' Italia on Lake Lugano. Managing Directors: Ingeborg Henze-Ketterer and Dr. Wolfgang Henze.
Since 2001 also in Riehen/Basel under the direction of Dr. Alexandra Henze Triebold and Marc Triebold.
The gallery represents art from classical modern style to contemporary art, in particular expressionism, abstraction and new figuration. The gallery sees itself not merely as point of sale. Regular solo and group exhibitions, participations in international art fairs, but also the mediation and support of numerous exhibitions in public institutions at both nationally and internationally are as much a part of the gallery's programme as the administration of archives about the represented artists. We also consider the publication of catalogues, articles and videos to be a matter of course for artists within the scope of our gallery activities.

In addition to outstanding paintings and other important works by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, you can see works by the other «Brücke» members at our booth at Masterpiece London 2018: Paintings and watercolours of landscapes by Erich Heckel and various techniques by Emil Nolde as well as works by Otto Mueller, Hermann Max Pechstein and Karl Schmidt-Rottluff. We will also show other well-known expressionists such as Karl Hofer and August Macke. In addition one of the important representatives of Symbolism, Odilon Redon can be seen in our booth. Another special feature is that we can present you one of the magnificent lion paintings of the Hungarian artist Géza Vastagh. Some of his works may be seen in the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum, Bournemouth and the Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery.
