Orly Maiberg presents a project which affords one an intimate view of the sketchbooks kept by thirteen artists. This is the second exhibition in this format at the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art. The sketchbooks are presented open, on top of a table, allowing us to see them from the front and back. They are accompanied by a compilation of short videos, shot by the artists themselves, in which they speak about the individual ways in which they see their sketchbooks. If visiting the artist’s studio allows one a glimpse of the private space where the creative process takes place, browsing through a sketchbook is like walking right into it.
