Hutson Gallery is pleased to present New Work an exhibition of paintings by Michael Page. With Michael Page's 2017 paintings you enter a world that seems familiar but as you look deeper, you find components of memories that are vaguely familiar but at the same time novel, comforting yet passionate. Michael’s use of red, blue and burnished copper creates planes, horizons and spheres from which radiates pathways of paint not always free of obstructions and sometimes marked by intricately executed dripping.
