PrintFest is a dynamic, three-day event hosted by IPCNY for MFA students and BFA seniors to exhibit, sell, and trade their prints during New York's annual Print Week. The fair is free and open to the public.
Thursday, October 26, 5 − 9pm Opening reception & Japanese decorative papermaking demo at Akua Inks table
Friday, October 27, 12 − 7pm 11am–12pm Print Chat: artists and printers discuss careers in the arts 12pm–7pm: New Techniques for Carborundum Gel demo at Akua Inks table.
Saturday, October 28, 12pm − 7pm 1pm-4pm: Political poster-making workshop led by artist Yevgeniy Fiks and Bushwick Print Lab on the occasion of IPCNY’s exhibition Russian Revolution: A Contested Legacy.
Our sponsors, Speedball, Akua Inks, and Arnhem 1618 paper, will be leading Akua Carborundum printing demonstrations throughout the weekend.
