Yoshikawa Tamihito is one of the artists who has been working on the developability of contemporary abstract paintings since he started his career in the early 90s. It’s noteworthy that his distinctive way of drawing the lines or the sense of colors creates the unique composition as if there are comfortable and energetic rhythms. This time, he tried to explore the matter or the truth that lies beyond the motif. The painter, of course almost all painters, struggles against his own themes everyday, “rain or shine”. This exhibition is his 10th solo exhibition at Kamakura Gallery, his latest 20 paintings will be on display.
