Burmese master artist Min Wae Aung has a passion for travelling and a very special place in his heart is reserved for Bagan, an ancient city in the Mandalay region in Myanmar. Scenes captured during his travels come together in 'A Resplendent Heritage,' a series of gentle watercolours depicting the landscapes of this ancient kingdom rich in culture and heritage. These artworks, a departure from his well known stylised portraits of Buddhist monks and nuns, are a refreshingly contrast to his famously vibrant acrylics.
