The exhibition “Echo Schwein” is based on the idea of a spatial constellation. Situated between the gallery’s outdoor area and its back room, the exhibition space constitutes the center of a three-part landscape. It contains imagery. Anna Fehr works with motifs from the German satire magazine “Titanic” and Honoré Daumier's “Les Bas-Bleus” series. She presents these two series as open-ended fragments, as a provisional editorial. The drawings by Lorenzo Bernet are filled with thematic and anecdotal interrelationships. Behind deep red selenium glass panels a rigidly handcrafted rhythm of artisan templates and patterns is revealed. The pictures in the exhibition space are echoed both in the concentrated interiority of the back room – the exhibition’s metaphorical unconscious – as well as in the public street beyond the gallery walls.
