On the polychromic vinyl surfaces Konstantin Batynkov paints anonymous reality, which he sees from the car moving in the traffic, or staying on the roadside or even watching it from the space. Once again the author presents large-sized paintings with absolutely free content. Everything is simple, legible and extremely variable. The Road is the theme and at the same time is the subject: parallel perspective, some turns and hills. But that is not similar to our life with policemen, banks of snow or countrymen. The road of Batynkov is the space of unlimited action, total movement, where something unexpected always happens.
His author’s identification phenomena appears in a vital antimony – existence in the art space or beyond it, beautiful forms appreciation or total indifference to it, dissipation in the content or unmotivated action. The whole “Road’ is something unlimited, free format of imagination of a man, who just wants to draw helicopters, sailboats and submarines – so to say everything that you may meet on the road across conceptual horizons of the big Russian artist imaginative universe.
