LeMieux Galleries is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
For the past 30 years, Thomas Mann has played an influential role in the American Craft movement. His Techno-Romantic design vocabulary adopts the techniques of collage and assemblage and applies them to jewelry objects and sculpture. Mann has always seen jewelry as a medium of artistic expression akin to painting or sculpture. Through the use of found and alternative materials and a variety of contemporary metals, he communicates ideas of personal meaning and stimulates the imagination. Whether large or small, Mann’s constructions and assemblages are designed to challenge the viewer by their imagery and meaning.
Thomas Mann lives and works in New Orleans, where he oversees both jewelry and sculpture studios. He exhibits extensively around the US and worldwide.
