LoveArt Gallery and Studio features three women artists at Aqua Miami 2017!
Miami FL, Dec. 6th- Dec 10th– Boutique contemporary art gallery in South Norwalk, Connecticut will be exhibiting three exciting and diverse women artists at Aqua Art Miami, this December.
Each artist brings their own unique art style to this exhibit, connecting through an inner inspiration and the drive to create art that makes the world better, breathe easier, see ourselves and each other, good or bad and find a better way.
Cabell Molina’s pop art collages make the intangible tangible by taking iconic images translating their meaning on canvas. Her works embody the layers of raw emotion that are formed by experiencing pop culture in both the present tense and as nostalgia. Cabell creates playful art pieces that are born of her own experiences, immortalizing the power of an image.
Christine Wexler is a surf and landscape photographer, with great love and appreciation for the surfing communities of Montauk, the Hamptons and Rockaway, New York. Her work has captured the ever-growing landscape of these towns. Working with film and digital, her collections feature the many waters that surround us. Christine made a conscious decision to focus on the true grit rituals and practice of surfing on the East Coast.
Amy Gordon’s pieces are inspired by the depths of complexity and the fragility of the human experience using acrylics, oils and pastels. Her signature abstracts mimic the balance between color, texture and vivacious movement within a serene space. The premise of each painting is to illustrate the rise from darkness, pain and confusion of life's elements to merge to clarity, light and forgiveness.
It is the differences in their art styles, that together they make a whole. Cabell’s work, especially her Wonder Woman Series, gives us hope and inspires the inner little girl who was not jaded or affected by the outside world. We feel strong and capable when we see her. Christine’s photographs remind us of the space that we all need in this society to breathe and collect ourselves-- to disconnect and reconnect with our soul and our true path. Amy's work is true reflection of how the inner spirit is there and we can choose to hide it or we can make it shine for all to see and admire.
