When Steven Parrino died unexpectedly in a motorcycle accident in 2005 at the age of 46, perhaps no country felt his loss more acutely than Switzerland. At the time of his death, Parrino had been working on an exhibition at MAMCO, Genève; in the preceding decades, Parrino’s work had been shown in Switzerland on more than a dozen occasions.
